Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies for both EA and CTS, recognizing differing requirements (e.g. speed and flexibility for EA vs. planning and scale for CTS)
  • Lead the development of an EA-specific sourcing approach for unlicensed medicines, prioritizing quality, compliance, and rapid lead times, while ensuring alignment with broader CTS sourcing principles where applicable
  • Act as a subject matter expert in sourcing unlicensed (EA) and licensed/unlicensed (CTS) medicines, ensuring compliant, timely, and commercially sound supply
  • Proactively identify, assess, and develop new supplier relationships, including direct manufacturers and specialist wholesalers, strengthening supply capability across both business units
  • Build and maintain a robust, dual-purpose supplier network that supports both rapid EA demand and planned CTS clinical supply requirements
  • Ensure high responsiveness to EA Business Development (BD) teams alongside strong planning and coordination with EA and CTS stakeholders
  • Propose strategic and innovative procurement solutions aligned to both EA and CTS commercial and operational priorities
  • Monitor and manage all allocated RFQs/RFIs, ensuring timely, competitive, and fit-for-purpose responses across both business units
  • Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships across the US and EU, ensuring performance supports both EA agility and CTS reliability
  • Maintain qualification of approved suppliers and lead qualification of new suppliers as required, ensuring compliance with both EA and CTS quality expectations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation point for key suppliers across EA and CTS activities
  • Maintain and enhance vendor management practices, including performance tracking, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier and product database, ensuring visibility of supplier capabilities, regulatory status, and lead times
  • Drive lead-time optimization and supply chain agility, specifically for EA, while supporting forecast-driven supply stability for CTS
  • Seek to lower purchase prices on strategic and high-value purchases while balancing speed, cost efficiency, quality, and risk
  • Minimize commercial and regulatory risk by ensuring validated contractual terms and compliance requirements are consistently met
  • Support internal Project Management, Account Executives, KAM, CTS teams, and BD teams to ensure a sustainable, responsive, and best-value supply chain
  • Partner closely with Quality to support supplier qualification, onboarding, and ongoing compliance across both EA and CTS requirements
  • Collect, report, and monitor KPIs, including supplier performance, lead times, cost efficiencies, and responsiveness
  • Execute responsibilities in accordance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, with particular attention to unlicensed medicines
  • Collaborate on cross-functional and cross-regional projects within the Inceptua Group
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements benefiting Strategic Procurement and both EA and CTS business units
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes, including CAPAs and Error/Issue Logs
  • Deliver against team and individual objectives as defined by the line manager
